Landlord Engagement in Affordable Housing

Landlord Engagement in Affordable Housing

The Landlord Engagement Action Team is currently designing an education campaign for landlords to debunk myths and stigmas about affordable housing programs and who needs them.

This campaign includes a series of one-pagers designed to educate landlords about the benefits they can experience from participating in affordable housing programs, including guaranteed on-time rent payments from the affordable housing agency and quickly filling any property vacancies.

In the next few months, the Action Team will be hosting a series of small educational events at libraries around the county to give landlords a chance to hear from experienced landlords about the benefits of the affordable housing programs and ask questions about any lingering concerns they might have.

If you would like to become part of an HSCC Action Team, please email hscc.eaton@gmail.com.

November 13th
Landlords from around the region were invited to attend this FREE education event hosted by the Eaton County Human Services Collaborative Council ( HSCC) to learn more about housing programs that may be available to  properties tenants, learn about how to sign up to participate in the programs, and get the opportunity to ask program professionals direct questions about any concerns you have about affordable housing programs.
