ABOUT US

Eaton Community Health (ECH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on health and vitality in Eaton County. We serve as a convener, catalyst, and capacity builder for long-range programs and projects with the ultimate goal of creating communities where residents thrive. As a “convener”, we bring people together in many creative ways, with the aim to involve the ideas, concerns, and input of local residents and organizations, so all voices can be heard. As a “catalyst”, we find innovative ways to remove barriers and help residents and local organizations to bring fresh ideas to light. As a “capacity builder”, we help to find needed resources to make this happen. Sometimes this is through providing paid coordinators for programs, or funding for projects. Other times it is from bringing expert resources to assist a project. Always, ECH plans for long-range impact and sustainable solutions.
